Project overview

The proposition was to design a brand for a new business that could sit alongside a thriving group structure. At the same time, it needed to cut through the recruitment industry noise.

With "Hive" at the heart of the company, the aim was to create a visual and technical system that was agile and flexible enough to grow and connect quickly.

In detail

Starting with discovery sessions to establish the core values of the company, which would be used to inform the direction of the visual identity and how it shows up.

Sharing visual styles with key stakeholder and clients, we landed on a striking colour pallet that had vibrant and edgy aesthetic, the main aim to leave a lasting impression, and establish Madison Hive in it's own space .

With the look and feel was established, I took an iterative approach to not just the design but the activation. Learning as we went, and adding more depth along the way.

After initial soft launch, we quickly realised that we needed to level up the systems to enable the small team to maximise their attention on the clients and be able to promote their jobs via multi channels. Using their CRM as the ‘hive’ I worked with an engineer to automate job listings on the site to create more eyes on.

There is more to come from this project with a view to continue with the Hive mind set, growing and connecting more people to more jobs.
